1. What does your organization do?
We rescue and rehabilitate horses and other animals, particularly those with a background in performance sectors, providing them with necessary care, medical attention, and, ultimately, finding them loving forever homes.

2. Can I volunteer?
At this time, we cannot have volunteers, but we do plan to have a volunteer program for adults and kids. We also have plans on becoming a field trip destination and have a homeschool membership program. At the moment we need donations to prepare our location to be able to open those programs up.

3. How can I adopt an animal?
To adopt, begin by browsing our available animals on our website. Complete an adoption application and go through our screening process, including a home visit. Upon approval, you can schedule an adoption.

4. Can I sponsor an adoption?
Yes, sponsoring an adoption assists in covering an animal's adoption fees and care expenses. Contact us to sponsor a specific animal or contribute towards our overall adoption efforts.

5. How are money donations used?
Monetary donations are used to cover animal care, shelter maintenance, necessary care services, medical treatments, food, and other essential supplies. We strive to ensure that every contribution directly benefits the animals in our care.

6. Do you accept in-kind donations?
Yes, in-kind donations such as tack, supplies, and feed are greatly appreciated. Contact us to learn more about the items we currently need.

7. How do you assess the animals' needs?
Upon rescue, each animal undergoes a thorough assessment by experienced and trusted veterinarians, and a tailored care plan is developed to address their specific needs.

8. How can I help spread awareness?
Spread the word about our mission by following us on social media, sharing our posts, and inviting friends and family to join us in supporting animal welfare.

9. What happens if an adopted animal doesn't work out in its new home?
In such cases, we require the animal be surrender back to our rescue. When each animal is adopted, there is a document that’s required to be signed by the adoptee that in such a case as this the animal must be returned to Wilder Performance Equine Rescue. We prioritize the well-being of our animals and ensure they are cared for throughout their lives.

10. Do you offer educational programs or tours?
Currently, no. But in the future, we will!

11. Are there age restrictions for volunteering?
Once our volunteering program opens up there might be age restrictions on certain tasks, but we encourage young volunteers to join and learn about animal care and welfare under supervision. All adult volunteers will be required to have background checks to ensure the safety of children who want to volunteer.

12. How often do you update your available animals for adoption?
We update our website weekly as well as our social media accounts, if not more. Ensuring our latest/newest adoptable animals will always be up to date.

13. What services do you offer for senior animals or those with special needs?
Our organization ensures that animals with special needs or those in their senior years receive specialized care and attention. We work closely with veterinarians to address their specific requirements and once adoptable be extremely diligent in the screening process.

14. Do you have an emergency rescue service?
While we might not offer emergency services, we work closely with authorities and other rescue organizations to address urgent cases whenever possible.

15. Can I make a donation in someone else's name?
Absolutely! Donations can be made in honor of someone or in memory of a beloved person or pet. Let us know your preferences when making the donation.

16. Is there a waiting list for adoptions?
Waiting lists might vary depending on the number of available animals and applications. Contact us for specific information regarding adoptions and waiting times.

17. Can I adopt an animal if I live far away?
We consider applications from individuals anywhere. Including those residing outside our immediate area. The screening process will still be required and will be performed by partners of our rescue local to your area. For adoption, you will be required to either travel to pick up the animal or cover travel costs for our employees.

18. How long do animals usually stay in the rescue before being adopted?
The duration an animal stays in the rescue can vary significantly based on various factors, including health, training, and adoption interest. We strive to find suitable homes promptly while ensuring the best match for each animal's needs.
